I can't recommend the Visible band / app for Long COVID and POTS enough. It's been a lifesaver with figuring out what is appropriate pacing for my #longcovidkid . She has one more week of partial enrollment and then we will hopefully be back full time (right before break).

The last time I saw my old primary care doctor, he put my diagnosis in my chart as "mild intermittent asthma", which... the asthma part was right. And it pissed me off so badly because I felt like he was minimizing all my lung issues.

My child is playing outside with her sister for the first time in three months. Her heart rate has radically stabilized in the past week or two KNOCK WOOD and so I am trying not to stress about a crash and enjoy it.

A reminder that the 5 day rule was shortened from 10 days, and then elimated entirely, because corporate interests were deemed more important than science and public health, and the rules are always made to suit capitalism.

LC parents, does anybody have any magical tips for getting your kid to drink fluids? I am so tired of pushing them. We also have invisalign happening, so that means electrolyte drinks are mostly out. I've tried phone alarms every 2 hours and she just ignores them. #longcovidkids

The question we must ask ourselves is why is it normal to fail to prevent a virus that has caused around 6 million children in the US to suffer long covid? Over 120k + in the UK are suffering. Why is there a failure to act? Why has this been normalised? It goes against our human instinct.
