i think if you want to have those disgusting LED headlights on your car, you should have to do a test where they blast you point blank with your own headlights and then you have 15 seconds to successfully complete some sort of vision-based task, and if you can't do it they push your car off a cliff

I finally had some of the 7-Up Shirley Temple flavor and: what the hell is this? It tastes nothing like grenadine *or* cherry syrup. It's just weirdly sweet with this underlying cream soda flavor and no cherry or pomegranate at all. How can you fuck up something so simple *this badly*?

In case there are newer knitters who feel bad about how long it takes them to do something, I've just had to pick up the sleeve stitches for my top down raglan 5 times. I've been doing this for 15 years.

I love how the people who are always "BUT THE CHILDREN" have now decided that girls 15 and up are no longer a part of that demographic. They join trans kids, "illegal" kids, black kids, non-Christian kids, Palestinian kids. Huh. I wonder who that leaves.

If you too have to choose between cheese and butter on a toasted cheese sandwich, freeze your bread. Put two slices on a piece of parchment. Cover with shredded cheese. Put in toaster oven on Toast for 4-5 minutes. Result is better than dry toasting in a pan.

Something that would help people buy a house is setting a maximum interest rate on a 30 year mortgage, not introducing a 50 year mortgage that will do nothing but make banks richer.

So I bought yarn today. Haven't in a while, so I'm pretty excited. Jimmy Beans sent a text about the Lana Grossa sale and I hopped on to grab Setasuri in Cream and Soffio in Rust Brown. Both will go with something I already have to become sweaters. The Soffio is for old and precious stash.
