Assume it's Liverpool. Or on a bike. Or drinking beer.
You know the story, I know the story, it's always the same... RIP.

Every word of this is true. And you don't have to cycle far round here to prove it again and again.
You only have to read the comments that appeared in the first few hours to see the point illustrated perfectly well.

Some people just don't see you as a human being, with a life, and loved ones, when you're riding a bike...

It's broken.

A question for #bikesky my cycling front and rear cameras are giving up the ghost. Recent events have convinced me to reinvest...

Any recommendations on good (decent memory, decent battery life) front and/or rear facing cameras?

I heard this was coming a little while ago.

The biggest question for me is if/how they can sort the geolocation for end use parking. There are times when they're an absolute pest - especially around campus.

pre-writing a devastating obituary for your enemy is god-tier hating of a kind you don’t often see anymore. renaissance haterism. beautiful stuff.
A Sharon Begley byline, almost 5 years after her death.

Upon hearing the news James Watson had died, a STAT reporter said in our Slack, "I wish I could read what Sharon would have written."

Incredible news: Sharon in fact did pre-write a Watson obit. And it is masterful and excoriating.

I've had such a crap commute this morning, that I've written to my MP and Councillor.

I'm just a bloke trying to get to work, and I want to go home to my kids at the end of the day.

Our road culture is fundamentally broken.

Having watched drivers (on two occasions, actually) undertake a funeral procession I'm not surprised by this story.

Obviously a big part of this is the diminishing nature of road policing. But also, we're also afraid to flat say to some people: "you're an arsehole"

1. It's fascinating to see, as you can from the responses to the post below, how many daft things people believe, to justify their continued meat eating. So let's examine a few of the common myths in the following thread. 🧵
For years, there's been a massive over-emphasis on food miles, and a massive under-emphasis on food type.
By far and away the best dietary decision you can make, for environmental, humanitarian and public health purposes, is to cut out animal products.
Remember this, whenever someone says "alternative proteins - yuck!"

I can't see any reason why this wouldn't apply to every commercial EV public charger, and every home charger for that matter. And of course, the cars themselves.
