This is what we mean when we say that RGK Jr and his gaggle of flunkies are pushing soft eugenics. Look at that phrasing: “only very sick kids should die from measles. “

Why the fuck should ANY CHILD die from measles? Why is a sick child worth less than a well one?

Just so we’re clear, everybody calling Kilmar Abrego Garcia a “terrorist” or a “gang member” are lying, and they know they’re lying, and they repeat it for purposes of confusing people who don’t follow this stuff closely into accepting what was done to him.

I want to tell you why the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia should matter to you.

The one power you cannot give the executive is the ability to imprison or expel anyone regardless of their legal rights. That is our key check against autocracy. And we are watching it disappear.

Hey, do you know what you call a guy who never admits a mistake, who becomes President of the United States by never admitting a mistake, who then convinces his entire presidential administration to never admit—let alone correct—any mistake, leading to innocents getting life sentences?

A sociopath.

Skipped the paperwork. Ignored the court order. Broke the law. Ignored the constitution.

This ain’t immigration policy. This is straight-up defiance of the rule of law.

I don’t want to ever hear “the left went too far” again because the right is currently cheering on the wholesale destruction of due process and any pretense toward democratic rule of law.
"The left went too far" in contemporary U.S. politics is almost always a lie and a very convenient way to rationalize moral failure. For example, "MeToo went too far" replaces "I do not care about sexual violence or its victims and I don't want to have to even feel bad about that"

In recent years, they all paid their execs more than they paid in taxes.

An ICE kidnapper who grabbed him outside his house said, "He's not the one."

The other said, "Take him anyway."

So they did.
