Random things about me:

my brain is swiss cheese. memory who?

i like to ramble in into the abyss

i hate that i have to work in order to survive; i wish i could just offer my skills for free and not have to worry about rent

I was a youth & teen librarian & the second I heard about some older guy creeping on one of the teens, I'd ask the age diff & say "what would you think about somebody your age (15) who could only make friends with 8yos?" "I'd think they were weird." "That sometime was wrong with them" then I'd STARE

Omg
grease floats.

when it flows in sewage and into our plants, it thickens as temps fall, separating in our settling tanks.

the churning water forms grease globs that build like snowballs, and operators remove them so they don’t clog the process.

listen. don’t pour grease down your drains.

No way
Small Yorkie dog ate the four sticks of butter acquired for Thanksgiving cooking. Yorkie proceeded to be extremely greasy all over, seemingly extruding the butter through her fur, for *three full weeks*!

I hate the time travel question but if the question were what concerts would you go to if you could go back in time my list:

✔️ Michael Jackson Live at Wembley
✔️ Whitney Houston My Love is Your Love Tour
✔️ Fleetwood Mac when everything was just chaotically right

I've been making apple cider/apple juice/something in between and man, I made a good batch yesterday. I didn't measure this time, just threw what I had in a pot and let it boil for a few hours.

IDK who needs to hear this, but protesting outside a synagogue because it's a synagogue is absolutely wrong, but protesting outside a synagogue because it's hosting an info session about how U.S. Jews can buy real estate in Palestinian territories is absolutely fine and good.

I think there’s an argument to be had that intentionally misgendering a person can be a form of sexual harassment.

If a teacher is doing it to a child it can move beyond free speech and into the territory of unethical emotional and psychological abuse.

Labor organizers stepped in to help organize it and they've done an amazing job. Now all of us are better connected. We are building grassroots power for the long haul.

The U.S. unemployment rate just hit a four-year high at 4.4%. Now, try wrapping your head around the idea of a 43% unemployment rate.

That’s the reality formerly incarcerated Black women face, thanks to the prison penalty:

I hear saw that video. I hate it all.
just saw a horrific video of a Morehouse student (man) choking a Clark Atlanta student (woman) in front of a crowd and the other young men present didn’t punch him in his face to get him off her, instead they were talking real calm to him even after he proceeded to threaten her after she got away
