We live now in a world in which insularity is a choice. Excusing ignorance in Republican voters is insulting to those who have little free time, freedom, or money and yet still choose to learn, even when it hurts.
The more I read, the more I was led to abhor and detest my enslavers. I could regard them in no other light than a band of successful robbers, who had left their homes, and gone to Africa, and stolen us from our homes, and in a strange land reduced us to slavery. Some takeaways from the Susie Wiles interview in no particular order. 1) Before anyone congratulates her on telling the truth, we must first acknowledge that when it comes to the craziest and most unqualified cabinet members...she absolutely fucking loves it because deep state something something.

1/2 The late Rob Reiner (May his memory be for a blessing) directed a lot of great films. But I first knew of him from All In The Family. He played Mike. His onscreen father-in-law Archie Bunker was a bigot who, over the course of the series, was forced to learn unwelcome things about himself.
