it genuinely sucks that basically nothing on the internet works well anymore. search? barely works. social media? filled with garbage engagement-bait designed to game the algorithm. news websites? pages that refresh at random or so covered in video ads that it’s impossible to read stories

Scab coffee just sounds disgusting.
If you're on the road, need a coffee, and spot an opportunity to grab your caffeine fix anywhere outside of a Starbucks take that chance.
Unionized Starbucks workers are on strike in:
-California
-Colorado
-Illinois
-Massachusetts
-New Jersey
-New York
-Ohio
-Oregon
-Pennsylvania
-Missouri
-Texas
-Washington

The strike could reach “hundreds of stores” by Tuesday, according to @sbworkersunited.org.

And now I have that "wouldn't it be nice" Beach Boys song stuck in my head. My apologies if you do, too. Unless you really like that song? Heck, I like that song well enough. Maybe I'm not sorry.

Leaving the ocean was a mistake.
This article highlights why more “crazy motherfuckers”are likely going to kill more extremely wealthy, “heartless, motherfuckers.”

Society has reached the tipping point on inequities. Especially those leaving the masses to suffer and die.

Some of your co-workers may feel like they are alone in secretly desiring to resist. Show them that they are not. But, *DO NOT* condemn or shame them if they slip back into status-quo-speak, for they are only human. Just remind them.
Many of us are echoing @timothysnyder.bsky.social's lesson in On Tyranny, "Do not obey in advance.”

A no less vital admonition that deserves attn:

STAND OUT

“...without that unease, there is no freedom. The moment you set an example, the spell of the status quo is broken, and others will follow."

REQUEST FOR CLARIFICATION:
people who know electronics better than me: right side of keyboard needed the mcu mounted component side up. i put extra long legs in so it would work the normal way up as well, for reusability. is that horrible / what are some standard approaches?
