If you still need evidence that this was never about “legal immigration,” I’m not sure what to tell you. This person followed every rule, showed up to their oath ceremony, and was arrested anyway. This is cruelty as policy, not public safety.
“She showed up as scheduled, and when she arrived, officers were asking everyone what country they were from, and if they said a certain country, they were told to step out of line and that their oath ceremonies were canceled.”

GLASHEEN: I'm familiar with the name

Thinking of that time when my dad, himself a doctor, was thrown by a horse on a trail ride. Punctured his spleen, internal bleeding, got him to an ER just in time. He lived another 20 years. With two hours delay, probably wouldn't have.

We rushed to *nearest* ER. Not comparison-shop for ER prices.

Democrats would be crazy not to make this comment super-famous tomorrow when the Senate debates health care. Republicans don’t want you to be cared for as a patient when you’re sick. They think of you as a “consumer”—and tough luck if you don’t have the money for the care you need.

The GOP plan to replace the ACA is practically old enough to study for it's drivers license test nowadays
FOX: What do you say to Americans who say to Republicans, where's your healthcare plan? If they're not getting their subsidy, what's option B?

McCORMICK: In the short term, we're still wrestling with how to deal with this

This week, the Senate will vote on Democrats' clean, three-year extension of the ACA tax credits.

Republicans have a choice: stop health insurance premiums from skyrocketing or abandon their constituents.

Trump’s use of the pardon power and his administration’s actions in the Caribbean have been monstrously villainous.

But as @gregsargent.bsky.social stresses, they’ve also been dangerously, recklessly uninformed. Trump is often acting on shoddy intel or no intel at all. It’s frankly terrifying.

Trump and the regime literally just showed us who they are and what side they are on.

And it's not the side of the US people and democracy.
Or Europe.
Or Ukraine.

In remarks already sparking MAGA backlash, Pope Leo XIV called anti-Muslim panic a political weapon against immigration — and a betrayal of the Gospel.

His message directly challenges Elon Musk and MAGA leaders who frame Christian empathy as weakness.

On his first trip abroad, Pope Leo XIV extols Muslim-Christian friendship — delivering a pointed rejoinder to MAGA pundits who deride compassion as “suicidal empathy.”

No matter how put upon I have been at work, no matter how burnt out, I know nobody would have tolerated an answer like this from me to a question even a tenth as serious as this one, and I would have been ashamed to answer this way.

Mike Johnson is not competent to occupy the office of Speaker.
RAJU: If defenseless survivors were killed, would that constitute a violation of the laws of war?

MIKE JOHNSON: I'm not going to prejudge any of that. I was pretty busy yesterday. I didn't follow a lot of the news.

First, the story about Hegseth allegedly committing war crimes has been going on for days

Second, if a Speaker of the House isn't up to date on current news, he isn't fit to serve. Even if Mike Johnson he didn't see it himself-highly unlikely-a staffer would've told him

So third, Johnson is lying

A note of caution about the new GOP vow of oversight on the murder of the two men clinging to the boat. It's good to see, but it could become a backdoor way for Rs to defuse pressure for broader scrutiny.

The entire operation is illegal. It all needs oversight. 1/
