What the Epstein files show is the *solidarity* of many men-across class, race, religion, profession & party affiliation-in the global political project of keeping the boot on women's necks.

People have no problem understanding class solidarity among the rich. Why can't they see gender solidarity?
Like I dunno, maybe the reason it took a lady to break open the story of all the men protecting the dude trafficking underage girls is because the male journos were all emailing him making jokes about it?

People are rightly saying that this is going to stigmatize neurodivergent folks unfairly, and this is true.

However, to flip this on its head, being neurodivergent and a eugenicist should give you cause to sit down and look in a mirror and take stock of yourself.

I'm looking at you, Elon Musk.
Exclusive: Adolf Hitler’s DNA has been sequenced by scientists

It has:
- shown he had a disorder which impacted his sexual development

Even if he dies right now and his entire cabinet goes with him, to be replaced by a more sane and 'normal' choice, the damage is done. We've all seen what so many people either actively support or are comfortable enough with.

it's widely known that transphobic parents publicly brag about cutting their trans children off from friends and support systems especially by taking away their phones and isolating them from contact with outsiders, this anti-phone push is an attempt to make that the default condition of queer youth
So, given that a lot of trans people are offended that Brianna's transfemicide is being turned into a crusade against phone use, when Brianna had a supportive online community and was murdered offline by her classmates:

Do you think "Touch grass" is an appropriate response to that context?

people also still, for some reason, give this man legitimacy
One of my earliest moments of radicalization was in 2005 when Larry Summers said that women biologically have less aptitude for science than men. Following that, scores of equally unimpressive people wrote pieces trying to explain or justify his remarks, when they should have called for his removal.

Those who believe "people will put up with many things if you are excellent at math" usually overestimate both what people will put up with, and their skill at math.
I've spent 20 years helping new engineers start careers, tip from a top recruiter: there's never any shortage of people who can write code that works (or do the art needed, etc), her challenge is finding people who can do that AND anyone wants to work with, friendly, communicate, take feedback
