The funniest thing about this thread is the British all up in it with the woke opinion of maybe getting rid of royalty.

Woke for 1776
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

All I want from Netflix is a Sylvie in Europe show. She is the coolest, hottest, smartest, most fashionable and she speaks English, French, and Italian. I really don't understand how we have been stuck with Emily for all these seasons

If universities were like police departments, faculty would be unfireable.
Texas Universities are now like police departments who would prefer to pay out the inevitable lawsuits rather than stop breaking the law
Texas A&M University will not reinstate a lecturer who was fired after a video of her teaching about gender identity in a children’s literature class went viral, despite a faculty appeals panel unanimously concluding that her dismissal was not justified.

Some of you are posting silly revisionist nonsense about Notre Dame. This is how serious law professors talk about football (from 12/7)

So many Xmas movies.

Jingle Bell Heist is a miss. Boring, badly done, hilariously bizarre background music.

Christmas Contract, by contrast, is a solid 8/10: Peyton from One Tree Hill; the very hot boyfriend from I, Zombie; lawyer best friend; a very fake Louisiana set. Chemistry abounds.
It's Thanksgiving so we are in key Xmas movie season. My jam is Netflix. Same Time, Next Xmas (2019, recently added) was first up. Very gorgeous leads, good chemistry, and Hawaii. I don't love a interrupted marriage plot line, especially this delayed one. But very very solid

Going to end my bank of america accounts and tell them why. Feminism gonna fail BOA
"We here at Bank of America remember a time when a woman couldn't get a credit card without her husband's approval. Wouldn't that be fun again?"
"Has feminism failed women brought to you by bank of america" is my MKULTRA sleeper agent activation phrase

Now this 👇is how to write an obituary for a racist. "A man would carry such a prejudice to his grave has undoubtedly gone to hell, if there is such a place and if not, a hell should be made for his especial benefit."

If you like civil rights history, you'll love Degrees of Freedom: The Origins of Civil Rights in Minnesota, 1865–1912. A reminder that the civil rights struggle started well before the 1960s and that the North was not innocent. Green brings to life Fredrick McGhee and other less known MN race men

Look, there is no way to avoid TPUSA. You can give trolls a C-, B, B+. It won't matter. They can even get an A overall but if you give the feedback the very constructive OU instructor did, you're on the list. The assignment could be 2% of the grade (it might be in that class!). There is no defense.

…anyway, wherever you’re spending Thanksgiving, I will always believe it’s the best day of the year. It can connect you to your roots while also setting you free from them. It can consist of a perfect spread or a pile of empty vodka bottles and pistachio shells and the world’s latest turkey

My Thanksgiving take is that this is our best, most American, most democratic, most welcoming, & gloriously secular holiday. I have gone to Filipino tgiving with whole roast pig, so many friendsgivings of random folks, restaurant buffets, & everything in between. The only rule is pie for breakfast
