To all those who love the BBC, now is the time to speak up.

What's gone wrong with Britain? Brexit!!

National Bureau of Economic Research... findings: “We estimate that by 2025, the Brexit process had reduced UK GDP by 6% to 8%, investment by 12% to 18%, employment by 3% to 4%, and productivity by 3% to 4%.”

Whatever the pros and cons of the changes - I am sceptical about the principles + doubt the practical impacts the government wants will materialise - this government is using language where some of the key premises are false (as a matter of fact) and where the consequences are overspun + unlikely

🎯 Davey is spot on. "We can have criticism of the BBC, but within that, we need to recognise how valuable an institution it is [and how] precious to our country. And that's one of the reasons why people like President Trump and Nigel Farage, want to undermine the BBC." 👏🏽~AA

The reaction to the Panorama edit has been nothing short of hysterical. Yes the BBC has some impartiality problems. But its biggest isn't the one you think.

New piece from me.

I’ve written to Keir Starmer, Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage urging them to condemn Donald Trump’s attack on the BBC.

The BBC belongs to Britain, not Trump. We must defend it together.

Retrograde step by the government.
Residential cycle parking standards in London are being slashed, as Labour's war on blockers to new housing takes an unexpected turn.

This deregulation was justified by the rise in e-scooters & dockless bikes. But planning rules don't yet require making space for them.

“The big advantage of bikes is that they go directly from where you start to where you finish, when you need to go. The advantage over cars is that they need perhaps 1/10th of the amount of space. Roads that jam up quickly with cars can carry effectively unlimited numbers of people by bicycle.”
