Per mile travelled, you are many times more likely to be killed on a bike than in a car.
We wouldn't accept death rates for car users rising to match those for cyclists.
We also know it's possible to reduce cycling death rates with better, affordable design.

Would love to see this happen and much more can and should be done, but so many of our roads look like this.
We need to be honest about the challenge of the mature trees, hedgerows, ditches and houses/gardens that are next to our roads.

Absolutely agree -so many bike stands are a pain to use because of lack of attention to little details.
