Last year, Japan resold at least $11bn worth of Australian gas.

Japan onsells more Australian gas than eastern Australia uses, and more than our forecast domestic gas shortages.

We don’t need new gas projects. We just need to use our own gas better.

Sky News has radicalised the Liberal Party. Just like Fox News radicalised MAGA.
Tony Barry nails it.

As long as Sky After Dark remains the Liberal Party’s policy incubator, expect more trash-tier pre-selections and policy ideas straight from the bin.

Extinction awaits.

In 1974 I had responsibility for design of the Whitlam policy on child care building on the 1972 Child Care ACT. 1976- 1982 I ran the Liberal government child care program. Commonwealth funding of child care was exclusivel to local government & not for profits. No scandals

Absolutely gobsmacking to me the number of Labor supporters who are able to excuse what's going on in Gaza to fit their view of domestic politics.
If you're one of them PLEASE unfollow and block me. If you respond with any kind of justification, I'll be blocking you & thinking you're a shit person

Thankfully, if there is one thing I (non-Catholic) learned going to Catholic schools, it is that Catholics are very good at politely not doing what the Catholic Church tells them to do.
At the request of MACS (Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools), Catholic schools have today sent this email to parents asking them to please vote LNP.

Unsurprising there's now a "debate" about welcomes to country, it's just another aspect of the strongly regressive cultural movement across the western world, away from generosity and towards meanness. That, in turn, reflects anxiety. Fearful people are mean, simple as that.

Only Independents with the balance of power in a minority government will deliver the ban on gambling advertising that an overwhelming majority of Australians want.

The major parties lack the courage to do it.
Albanese used captain’s call to avoid messy brawl over gambling ads
This was the fourth time the prime minister had blocked controversial policies to avoid rocking the boat as he prepared for the campaign.

Indeed, capitalist consumerism is mostly to blame for the individualistic narcissism Kelly professes to be worried about. Even successive Popes have been banging on about this for years, and about the climate crisis, but curiously the Catholic Boys Weekly thinks they are also too woke.

If the ABC is going to give softball interviews to "former Home Affairs secretary" Mike Pezzullo, they should really disclose to readers that he was sacked from that job for 14 breaches of the Code of Conduct

Pro-AFD, no mentions of their Nazi-ism, implications Muslims are responsible for specific crimes with no evidence, suggestions they support terrorism, attacks on multiculturalism etc. Awful.
