A friend was telling me about major drama in our extended community yesterday, and this was exactly how I felt hearing it. Who has the energy for that?
If you ever hear about me caught up in some messy intrigue know it is a lie.

I do not have that kind of energy.

I get teased for it sometimes, but I'm a shameless question asker - whether it is what an acronym means, how we're defining a term, or even how to spell a name - I ask because I care to know and understand.

This is cool. COURIER has created a searchable database with all 20,000 of the files just released from Epstein’s estate.

Trump's name appears in them more than anyone else, in 1,628 documents.

This literally looks like fucking shit. I’m not just saying that because I think he’s a sickening pedophile rapist who smells horrible. It legitimately looks like it was decorated by a demented moron. I pray the reaper comes for him immediately.

There are many reasons to opposed GenAI and LLMs(see quote below) but here are the three I believe every business should be guided by:

1. They do not work as advertised
2. They impact the ability to think and reduce understanding of business processes
3. They're opaque and easy to manipulate

Devastating news. Teen Vogue has been such an important source of news in the last few years.
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

Retired Army Sgt. Brian Wofford spoke to me this morning at the Oklahoma City #NoKings protest. Didn’t expect him to be carrying his DD214 so I asked some warmup questions like when he got out and whether his injury was service-related.

He paused while describing the car bomb in Iraq to say this:

Growing up on base did not prepare me for the racism I discovered, including within my own family, once my parents left the service. I am so grateful for the time I spent living and going to school on US military bases.
As a Cold War Air Force brat, I saw workplace integration at the BX, commissary, barber's & library, & thought nothing of seeing it on Star Trek. And for that, I am eternally grateful.

It is impossible to sum up the impact she has had on our world and on science in a social media post.

She lived a long and incredible life but I am devastated.
