Tenerife? How delightfully 80s/90s.

Still shaking after that #tdf2025 stage. That was epic...

Almost glad I was ill today so I could spend the day watching the #tdf2025. I am only invested in the third place battle so utterly enjoyed it.

And feel very sorry for those who have to try to turn that into 15 mins/highlight packages..

Pff, just watched yesterday's #tdf2025 stage. I take two positives from it.. firstly there are a bunch of exciting youngsters coming up. Secondly I can ignore the rest of the race and enjoy my July.

My book Drystone – A Life Rebuilt is out in just 3 weeks. I’ve poured everything into writing it and getting it out into the world as far as I can.

I’d love your help. A share, a preorder, a message to someone who might love it, it all makes a difference.

Just spitballing here but I think air conditioning is a much better use of energy than sophisticated predictive text models that lie to you and produce slop “art”

Preliminary diagnosis for Jasper Philipsen

Displaced fracture of the right collarbone, surgery will definitely be required. At least one broken rib, possibly two. He will be as soon as possible transferred to the hospital in Herentals, where he will undergo surgery.

The things billionaires should have? I don't really buy into the idea that people should have yachts and private jets, don't really like the ever increasing push for high end luxury goods, and think one house is enough...
“Where is the party of ‘everyone should be billionaires?’” is one of the stupidest complaints I’ve ever heard.

Love the Tour De France. Really hate the adverts on ITV...

Like really hate them. "Donkeys are dying.. save them"

"Kids are dying.. save them.."

"Help stop dementia.."

"You need to support the the RNLI..

Etc

I have written before that one of the reasons we have our current mess is that many of the West’s richest men all made their fortune during the same boom, and so are all roughly the same age, and so are all having their midlife crisis at the same time.
I don't think "divorced guy" is widely enough recognized as a political affiliation
the whole story is worth reading, and the implication is that as Bezos got a personal trainer, divorced, sought a celebrity lifestyle *and* felt like he was mistreated by the Biden administration, his views about the purpose of the Post evolved accordingly

Well, I feel terrible about this now. The partner's hotel room got robbed while he slept last night.
Sometimes it's great that the partner is staying out all night. Sometimes its great cos I get mental space.

Tonight it's great cos the bedroom is 27 bloody degrees. And I would not want to be sleeping next to anything that generates additional heat.

I don't think you get to be ethnonationalist if you as a country went around invading and colonising other countries...

That creates - as in the Roman Empire - the basis for a whole host of interesting cultural exchange and mixing.
For anyone surprised by Gove's interview with Goodwin, this article appeared in the Spectator yesterday.

Under Nelson, Spectator pushed racist liars like Murray, Taki and Liddle for clicks and money; under Gove, it's a broader ethnonationalist ideological project.

This is a DELIGHTFULLY insane place to deploy AI, and I would *love* to know what the internal meetings at Docusign were like when they discussed this feature.
I just received a contract on Docusign for review and signing, and it offered to give me an AI-generated summary that I could read instead to save time.

That's AN AI-GENERATED SUMMARY ***OF A CONTRACT***, in case you need to let that sink in.
