US state-level protections against harm from chemicals could be lost under Trump administration plans. States can only ban use of a chemical if the EPA deems it poses an "unreasonable" risk. The administration is working to change the definition of "reasonable".

The global forestry industry in its current form is nothing but a crime enterprise, destroying nature on an almost inconceivable scale for profit.

Reversing ecological breakdown means recognising and confronting that reality.
Unfortunately we practice the same here in British Columbia. Massive stands of old growth forests are decimated leaving scarred stumps as far as the eye can see. “We’ll replant, no worries.” Spindly trees does not a forest make. It’s heartbreaking. No one listens.
