That settles it. This, on repeat, for the rest of the day. No more worries. Only porcupette chat.
Happy World Porcupine Day! For those wondering what a baby porcupine is called, it’s a porcupette. For those wondering what a group of porcupines is called, it’s a prickle. And for those wondering what porcupines sound like, turn up your volume for this smol guy called Kemosabe nomming on a banana…

This is Acorn. She was brought to the vet with broken front legs. Her fur was severely matted, amongst other obvious signs of neglect. Her owners were ordered to surrender her. She now needs multiple surgeries to fix the fractures. You can help her below ❤️‍🩹

If you feel you must have a purebred for some reason - adopt one! Many end up needing homes because people get kittens after seeing cute pics online but then find themselves utterly unprepared for its special care or medical needs. Placement groups exist for just about every breed!

It’s National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day! As most of you know, I’m a passionate advocate for adoption. Not only to save the lives of superb shelter cats like Fergus & Francie, but to withhold money from the commercial breeding world which has done tremendous harm to the health of so many “purebreds”. 💔

Science break.
This kayaker gets approached by an otter every time he visits a lake. The otter was orphaned after the mother was in an accident, and the man helped it throughout it's rehabilitation process to later release it back into the wild. Volume up.🔊
