LUCE expanded their work into food delivery, when they recognized that immigrants were afraid to leave their homes to buy food. In this time of acute insecurity, their mission is more important than ever. Please support them if you can!
Fund food not ICE! LUCE’s Cambridge Hub is collecting food donations to support local pantries and calling on @massgovernor.bsky.social to use the Rainy Day Fund to continue SNAP benefits and protect immigrant, refugee and working class families. Please come by to donate food — & share this widely!

Read this thread. This is what @katmabu.bsky.social was protesting, and why she repeatedly says getting beaten up by ICE outside is nothing compared to the torture and crimes being committed inside Broadview. These thugs must be held to account.
A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

Listeria kills.

Check any pasta meals you bought from Trader Joe's, Albertson's, Kroger, Walmart, Giant Eagle, or Sprouts.

Cooking doesn't kill listeria; it survives to kill us. Do not mess with it.

Too bad Mike Johnson hasn't watched the news. He doesn't know about the elections that happened yesterday so he doesn't have an opinion about them. He's focused on doing his job for the American People.

huh it doesn't seem like it's necessary to run away from supporting marginalized people in order to win at all, it almost seems like it helps you win the support of a polity that hates our supremacist government

Our state took over the Houston schools and installed an "expert" who replaced school libraries with detention centers and funneled money to one of his businesses in another state.
