This is a story about how America’s world-leading cancer and dementia research system was destroyed by frauds and naifs who broke the law.

There must be consequences.
Some incredible details in this piece
*one DOGE faction was planning the future of the US government at a venture capital firm
*illegally communicating on Signal to avoid transparency laws was deeply embedded into organizational culture to be taken for granted

Dipshit is smashing out a car window with his gun, barrel first. Just rogue, cowboy stiff.

There were two US citizens in the car. They were apprehended and detained for “obstructing” ICE by honking their horn to let people know ICE was in the neighborhood.

the takeaway from the Zohran Trump meeting is that Trump is a gullible fool who will temporarily bend to the last charismatic person he talked to.

Zohran played him perfectly but that doesn’t mean Trump is good now. He’ll go back to fascism tomorrow morning after he talks to Stephen Miller

And for some reason ever since dumb asses have been talking about a rightward shift when tens of millions of the Obama coalition voters and young voters stayed home!
Harris ran on "I am tougher on immigration than Donald Trump". It was a message she repeated over and over again, each time alienating a large part of her voters in order to appease Republican talking heads who could never be appeased.

The issue of border security is one of Vice President Harris' biggest vulnerabilities in her campaign. On Tuesday, she tried to use his signature issue against former President Donald Trump.

A big difference between now and like 20 years ago is that conservative elites used to not stew in conservative propaganda for the rubes like Limbaugh and would mostly read relatively legit news sources like WSJ.

Today it's all getting high on your own supply, all the time

The only way to argue against this is to imagine there are voters who will walk into a polling place one year from now with “the Democrats ended the shutdown last year and saved my Thanksgiving travel plans” at the forefront of their minds, which, I’m sorry, is not a real thing.
This is why you DON'T stop the shutdown. Clearly the voters know who's responsible for the shutdown and now it's gonna be even worse. Since the news isn't willing to be honest with Americans about what Trump was and is, this will have to do so they can get the message.
