Part of the reason that I contend that the language of the internet is DARVO.
Saying "you should be more grateful" is one of the most direct ways that people who hold power can claim they were victimized by people who have less power. It's pretty classic reversal of victims and offenders, so it follows that our abusers-in-chief are deploying this rhetoric.

The "genetic evidence" cited by more-recent personality psychologists, polygenic scores, use methods highly prone to false positives/spurious correlations.
So this is concerning: Economists are pretty much the only social scientists policymakers listen to, and now they're getting into personality studies which as a field (in psychology) it has been the province of eugenicists for decades. Very worrying that economists are getting in on this game NOW
