A 67 year old amputee and wheelchair user lived with his son who had cerebral palsy.
They were killed in the Eaton fire while waiting for an ambulance that never arrived.

So these instructions on how to apply for individual assistance from FEMA, & explanations of what their questions are actually asking for were posted by the North Carolina Department of Insurance, but they're applicable to anyone who needs FEMA assistance. Go to disasterassistance.gov to get started
