Did you know? When the sloth bear goes after termites, a key food source, its fluffy hair helps to prevent bites. And, when chowing down, this species is able to completely close its nostrils to avoid unwanted visitors from entering!

What the US is experiencing right now is fascism. There's no other word for it and pretending that it's verboten to say so diminishes the truth as much as they are diminishing the truth. It's fascism. It's arrived.

It’s so hard watching the kindest person you know become unable to develop their own sense of direction and lack of clarity. I’m watching them be snowed left and right by those who are very aware how impressionable they are. I’ve tried to make this horse of hers drink, but they’ve always refused.

Taking a chemistry lab again since last year and the cogs most certainly weren’t churning, literally grabbed the wrong measured pipette three different times and now I’m expected to do conversions and plot the data. I can feel my brain swelling against its case.

The world has changed before and, when it did, it wasn’t because a president, a prime minister, a CEO or a celebrity decided it had to.

It began when ordinary people – people of no particular power, wealth, or fame – decided that the world could and should be different.
