...how bold I was, could be, will be, still am - by God, still am.
The bar is loud and full of people, but Outside is 13 degrees. What to do.

Happy #ValentinesDay to the best couple ever - the girl and fictional boyfriend from the "Take on Me" video - and literally no one else.

That vibe isn't coming back. Let it go. Cry to your leopards about it.
Update, she now knows that I know and I can tell because she's trying to engage me in overly friendly shenanigans. Pass.
Found out my work buddy is a Trumper, send thoughts and prayers. :(

Hah. "Look beyond your narrow interest of being purged as an undesirable."

No, I don't think I will, actually.

Calling in to work like, "No, I'm not sick. No, I'm just wayyyy behind on all my podcasts. Yeah, it's like out of control. Yeah, a day or two should sort me out."

I'd read that in a heartbeat.

My point is not ultimately about self-conception of identity, though "Born This Way" fails for a lot of us on that level too.

I want us all to be cognizant, however, that demanding mercy for a characteristic we cannot change from a society going for Eugenics 2 is a VERY, VERY BAD IDEA.

For the love of god, just download and use Libre Office. It’s free and you can save .docs and there’s no weird AI tacked on. I use it for work. No one has ever been able to tell it apart from word. You don’t need Microsoft office products at all. I promise. I proooomiiiiissseeeeee.
Microsoft is going to price gouge you by adding their genAI to your subscription without your consent, and they are not transparent about how to avoid this bullshit.

Here's how to change your subscription back to "Classic" for a lower charge without Copilot: answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffi...

Like I don't know gang, I think "Born This Way" was perhaps a historically necessary step, but we have ceded far too much ground to the idea that we are only this way because we don't have a choice.

If you gave me a choice to not be a trans dyke I'd spit blood in your face.

Just gonna get queerer, witchier, louder. Just gonna build an even higher soapbox. Be an even bigger drag, even more lethal killer of joys. Come at me.

If we have to have a Labyrinth sequel with no Bowie, let Jennifer Connelly return to play Sarah the Goblin King.

4-year-old nephew: look at my sun! It's a rainbow!

Me: very nice rainbow sun. That's the gay agenda right there.

4yo: yes, it is

My husband: Rainbow sun, won't you come and make everything gay...

it's really funny that, like, Dawn of the Dead (2004) is like, "oh yeah we're not your DADDY'S zombie movie" and has the political complexity of a cartoon, while the original Dawn of the Dead's cold open is a SWAT team ethnically cleansing downtown Pittsburg
