RFK Jr. is now taking COVID19 vaccines away from people who are pregnant. Infection during pregnancy increases the risk severe disease and potentially preterm birth.

The CDC itself lists pregnancy as a condition that puts people at risk for severe disease. The science doesn’t support this.

Phang: It’s time for federal judges to acknowledge that they have lifetime appointments—and that should give them the courage to uphold the rule of law, but also to put some damn teeth into the court orders they’re issuing.

it’s time that we start seeing action from the judiciary.

Rex Huppke admits that he has worn a Bulls hat. Which means, according to the MAGA mindset, that he's in MS-13. "I’m a middle-aged, non-Hispanic suburban man who’s whiter than ceiling primer, so I’m not sure how or when I became active in Hispanic gang culture."
Sharp column by my friend Rex.
Wrongly deported Abrego Garcia has a skull tattoo and has worn a Bulls hat. I have a skull tattoo and have worn a Bulls hat. Am I in MS-13?

"I’ve started wondering if I might be a member of a violent transnational Salvadoran gang."

Maybe Senator Van Hollen should be President, since Trump says he's not really involved with the situation, doesn't really know what's going on, and can't do anything. Who needs such a flaccid executive?

The news media are focusing on how Trump is abusing federal workers and depriving the American people of vital services as he vandalizes government agencies. But the media need to say more often that these actions are ILLEGAL.

The Chief Justice speaks out to protect democracy, at least as far as his own institution is concerned. Hopefully this signals an intent to stand for more. In the face of silence from the GOP, he has chosen to take this remarkable step of warning the president to back off.
