There is absolutely zero reason to cave to Trump, as we’ve seen from Columbia his administration will absolutely go back on its word. The only way to stay safe to protect your institution is to stay loud stay visible and stay engaged.

When I was growing up autistic kids were "hyper" or "had water on the brain" and there was always a raft of "weird kids" who were socially ostracized because they had a hard time people-ing. If you don't think autism existed before it was commonly called "autism," it's because you chose not to see.
My dad truly believed that people just didn't have autism when he was growing up and I had to be the one to break it to him that autistic people who didn't fit in WERE PUT INTO INSTITUTIONS
