only time I got dogpiled on this site was for making this point and the lead person involved bought a house in sf paid for by nfts

she also quickly expanded on her worldview while we were pvp’ing such as abolish the fda because they don’t let us have the good sunscreen
If you need me, tap me on the shoulder. I’ll be happily working all day listening to this on a loop.

The darkest part of this is how easy it is to prey on people in grief. There was a long time, for a lot of reasons, where I would have given nearly anything to get my mother back instead of the Alzheimer's-ridden shell of her last decade+ of life.

That's who they're preying on.
The latest iteration of this doomed cycle is... a product that shows us what it would be like if you could pull up an avatar of a dead loved one on your phone whenever you wanted to and "talk" with them. www.welcometohellworld.com/for-all-thei...

I remember building a little HTPC many years ago, and it ran Valve's first attempt at SteamOS (based on Debian). It was... very rough, and eventually I replaced that with OS with Mint, but this is essentially what I wanted it to be.

I do think this is a point of radicalization because a lot of angry, angry normal people were ready to dig in and suffer a lot in order to make fascists suffer a little, and their resolution was sold out and made into a mockery

There are so many upsetting things happening constantly, of course, but this one really troubles me. I've been working in cyber for over a decade, and CISA has been a hugely valuable resource. To see it being effectively dismantled is deeply concerning!
