In Scotland there's a different perspective on patriotism.
Not for UK.
Independence will not only encourage Scots to stay at home but will also attract positive folk who want to work and benefit from the vast resources which are currently being channelled south.

Norway’s Sovereign Wealth Fund stands at a whopping $2 Trillion because they invested in their future.

We could’ve been in a similar position, but UK Govs squandered our oil wealth.

Westminster never works for Scotland, it’s time for independence. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Their aim is to weaken Scotland's ability to stand on its own financially. Which we have been doing successfully for almost two decades. Imagine if we had full fiscal autonomy how we could all benefit from our nation prospering in the international markets.

These middle or upper middle class (for want of a better description) are the same ppl who are pushing this nonsense. If we were to take in a fraction of the money lost to tax avoidance alone we'd solve these problems but with attitudes like that influencing MPs what chance do we have?

When we achieve Indy I hope whoever is in charge has the foresight to take electricity and gas into public hands again. With the appropriate setup it could bring in a lot of revenue to the Scot Gov which in turn could be used to help fund the NHS and Social Care budgets.

What's really stupid is continuing to give credence to Farrage's rantings by continuing to talk about him online and in the media. Starmer is doing a fine job of implementing Reform's agenda without any help.
The stupidity of Farage’s latest ‘plan’ is staggering.
Claiming they’d save British taxpayers money by ripping up international commitments and starting a trade war with Europe is the puerile foot-stamp of a party that uses prejudice as policy. Ruinous nonsense.

I imaging that your bosses in your party head-office in London would love this, but it's a big no thanks from me. The idea of building these with an expected ongoing decommissioning bill and safety issues of *hundreds* of years is plain loopy.
