Best advice for folks joining Bluesky right now is FILL OUT YOUR PROFILE before you follow a bunch of people. And ideally follow some friends who know it's you first. There's a bot influx as people realize this is the place to be and it's going to be difficult to tell automated from real for a bit.

Absolutely this. Tiktok was the only space I could truly find community as a late-diagnosed adult with adhd and as someone trying to navigate gender identity and being nonbinary. Even at a basic software level, I've yet to find a more intuitive, veraatile, and accessible way to make and edit videos
Tiktok was a source of laughter, education, donations, dancing, music, inspiration, support, inside jokes, & joy. The community there was a gift.

Those commenting in disagreement should consider whether or not they bothered to use the app and how much they’re revealing about their algorithm.

I asked Biden’s top domestic policy official why healthcare wasn’t a bigger election issue.

She said Trump has learned to avoid it.

Now Republicans are openly talking about cuts to health programs.

“I think that this will be a head snap to millions of Americans,” @neeratanden.bsky.social told me.
Neera Tanden worries the election was ‘bait-and-switch’ on health care
Biden’s domestic policy adviser says Trump avoided pledges to overhaul the Affordable Care Act and other health programs — but changes are coming anyway.

Instead, Trump called Zeldin and asked him to carry out his agenda at the agency, sources said. www.washingtonpost.com/climate-envi...
Lee Zeldin didn’t ask to head EPA. Here’s why Trump picked him.
He was a moderate Republican congressman from New York. Now he’s a MAGA loyalist poised to lead a key environmental agency.

Health insurers reject millions of claims for treatment every year in America. Corporate insiders, recordings and internal emails expose the system and its harm.
