i feel for this viewpoint, but remember the squandered promise of the semantic web and the wreckage of many b2b endeavors where each b wanted to be the one dictating terms.
i don't think the new tooling fixes (or even addresses) those earlier failures, so don't see how they'll avoid similar fates.
