It is absolutely a threat to real art. I have friends who are real artists, who are in the illustration business, who are losing work to genAI. The point of technofascist capture of the arts is to lower the expectations of audiences/consumers so they'll accept degraded, automated 'content'.
Thing no one wants to admit is that AI isn’t a real threat higher end art, it is a slop-replacement, and the slop is what pays the bills for artists more often than not, and effectively subsidizes good art.
New from 404 Media: authors are getting caught leaving AI prompts in their novels, telling the AI to follow someone else's style. We bought a copy to confirm.

The intel ARC B580 is finally setup on my secondary super budget pc! Doing benchmarks and setting up games right now, love the aesthetic of it, totally different to my main pc thats all white with pink RBG 😍 Entire pc cost about 600 euro to put together, super happy with it!
