The biggest mistake in this thread is conflating Fascism with Authoritarianism. Fascism is a philosophy, not a government.

Add this to the list of evidence that Trump is purposely making this shutdown as hard on Anna as possible, while trying to blame it on the Democrats. He wants to be able to say "it's not my fault, my hands are tied", but every time singing comes up with a solution he actively resists it.
