When you call 911, they ask “police, fire, or EMS?”
Only one of those costs money: the ambulance. That’s unacceptable.
Imagine if your house was on fire and you were presented with a bill after it was put out. That would be outrageous.

“You should not go into debt if you get sick or pursue an education" would be one hell of a rallying cry for the Democratic Party.
Currently, they cannot stand for policies that get at the root causes of corporate greed.

I'm glad Pete Hegseth has pledged not to drink if he is confirmed as Defense Secretary. So, I guess he can still sexually harass women, mismanage funds, discriminate against women service members, push for a Christian Nationalist agenda, and be a virulent Islamaphobe?
