Dodgers broadcast was discussing the science behind the perception of time between children and adults. After hearing the explanation, the color commentator pauses and asks, "Am I gonna feel any better?"
Andy Pages then smashes a dinger into space, thus ending the existential crisis on commentary.

One of the defining feelings in American life, for decades now, is elites doing plainly criminal shit and nothing at all happening as a result. It is deranging in a way that virtually nothing else is. Media fixates on perceived street lawlessness but shit like this matters much more in my opinion.

“The Great Gatsby is dated and irrelevant.” You’re right. What could a novel about a generation of young men becoming hustlers and white nationalists because they were sold a lie about the American Dream possibly have to say about our current moment?

It's hard to laugh at it but a kind of bleakly funny throughline in all this is that it's being overseen by people who 1) have never had any kind of real job, 2) don't know what these particular jobs are or might entail and haven't asked, and 3) are absolutely convinced that they are fake.
BREAKING: As Elon Musk said on X would be happening, I can now report that all federal employees are receiving an email directing them to provide “approx. 5 bullets of what you accomplished last week.”
It directs them not to send any classified information and is due by 11:59p Monday.

RIP David Lynch, I don't know if this was the best episode of TV ever but maybe the most culturally important, the one that scholars will be studying for centuries

newspaper endorsements mean less than nothing at this point, but this is a genuinely bad sign for a second Trump term - the press, and specifically its billionaire owner class, is signaling in advance how quickly and thoroughly it will capitulate to Dictator Trump's demands
