People get mad when I say it, but I will again: The intentional gutting of all media that could and has historically been used to help protect democracy is deeply linked to the rise of fascism and the end of democracy. The wealth class has consolidated enough of media to fully embrace anti-democracy
Vice had the best extremism coverage going. A very deep loss. America is about to face the fascist takeover without much of a way for people to reliably find out about it.
