Tax cuts for the wealthy. Healthcare stripped from millions. The poor and middle class pay more while the rich pay less. Costs soar, debt explodes, and 40 billion gifted to Argentina while gold-plated vanity projects rise at home. This isn’t governance—it’s looting. Priorities don’t lie.

Wow: Overt, unapologetic Christian nationalism from the Vice President here.

Even Trump has stopped short of saying something this explicit on the topic while President.
JD Vance gets the biggest applause of his speech so far when he says "by the grace of God we always will be a Christian nation"

Remember when Trump lied that the Biden administration wasn't sending all the relief money North Carolina needed?
Stein: What is typical after a storm like this is that the federal government provides about 50, 60, even 70 percent of the damages in relief dollars to help a region recover from a massive hit. So far, North Carolina has received about 11 percent.

After Helene, politicians flew in from D.C., used the devastation as a backdrop for campaign photo ops, and made big promises — promises we're still waiting on them to keep.

More than a year later, Chuck Edwards hasn't delivered. Western NC is tired of waiting.

Please make sure every military member you know knows this.
Trump’s promise Wednesday to pay troops a “warrior dividend” bonus is actually a military housing stipend already approved by Congress, and not a generous new White House program.
Trump claims credit for military bonus that Congress already approved
The White House’s plans for a “warrior dividend” to reward troops this holiday season are actually housing assistance funds approved this summer.

One reason why Republicans won't extend expiring ACA subsidies?

Koch-backed lobby groups have spent over $1.1M pressuring GOP lawmakers to let 20M Americans' health insurance costs go up.

Money in politics is the root of our dysfunction.

Democrats would be crazy not to make this comment super-famous tomorrow when the Senate debates health care. Republicans don’t want you to be cared for as a patient when you’re sick. They think of you as a “consumer”—and tough luck if you don’t have the money for the care you need.
Roger Marshall: "We want patients to become consumers again. We want patients to see what the actual prices are. We believe that if we would add the price tags to this bill, that it would save the country a trillion dollars a year."
