The far-right are desperate to destroy Polanski not because they're afraid their supporters will vote Green, but because they're terrified of Greens being invited onto more talk shows where they'll expose Reform lies. (Something Labour hasn't been bothering to do for at least 9 years.)

A mad proposal from the Conservatives today in the Sentencing Bill, to abolish the independent Sentencing Council, and transfer all sentencing guideline powers to the Justice Secretary
This would, by the look of it, end the idea of an independent judiciary & any separation of Government and Courts.

Amazing story in The Times. Reform UK failed to pay VAT to HMRC on its sales (tickets, merchandise). About £400k in all.
