I don't really agree with the analysis or conclusions (I don't think Inquisitor is a game served well by a points system, for example) and I've left a response with some of my thoughts, but dialogue and discourse around Inquisitor is a good thing.

For eff's-sake, "third spaces" are not a viable option. You cannot expect every shopping centre, cafe, 13thC pub, park toilet, etc to remodel for a insane solution to an non-existent problem.
The only concievable outcome of this would be nearly everywhere having to declare their toilets unisex.

When I see people on here unknowingly join moral panics around child safety and technology, I think about how the future of this very platform hangs in the balance of this legislation that is designed to force us back onto big tech platforms. It’s not about the kids. It’s about all of us
Unfortunately, Bluesky is unavailable in Mississippi right now, due to a new state law that requires age verification for all users.
While intended for child safety, we think this law poses broader challenges & creates significant barriers that limit free speech & harm smaller platforms like ours.
