On this Transgender Day of Remembrance, we honor the trans people lost to violence in the U.S. this year.

Widespread poverty, homelessness, and discrimination makes trans people 4x more likely to experience violence than the average person.

We shouldn’t have to live in fear to be who we are.

Of course my media literacy is just so exceptional that I understand everything an author is saying in a story on the first read so this debate doesn’t matter to me :)
Subtweeting an oomf by saying I personally don’t think either Higurashi or Umineko are subtle in their presentation of their themes. Ryukishi’s subtlety to me has always been his foreshadowing and the ability to reinterpret contextualized events rather than guessing what the intended message is.

The news of a ceasefire brings a much-needed, long-overdue glimmer of hope for children and families in Gaza.

UNICEF is ready - we have a plan in place, supplies on the move, and a team on the ground providing children with life-saving supplies and services.

WCK's new Hayat and Salam kitchens in Gaza are starting to come to life!
Our latest Field Kitchens are under construction, part of our growing network working toward serving 1 million meals every day to Palestinians. Teams will prepare 250,000 more meals daily to support communities. #ChefsForGaza

Saying Higurashi is about "schoolchildren killing each other" makes as much sense as saying Silent Hill 4 is about circumcision.
C'mon man, Higurashi When They Cry is 100% not that.

My professor in International Policy was asked about Israel/Palestine in a lecture and unironically used the “Palestinians never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity” line 😭

If you were looking to donate towards Palestinian relief and to maximize your donation, the Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) has employer matching for donations. Many employers appear to be participating - mine is 💖

You can apparently complain all you want about Jewish globalist money controlling Hollywood and funding migration, but if you’re pro-Israel, you’re in the tent and not judged antisemitic in the sole way these group thinks matters. I do not ultimately think this is good for the Jews.

We can obviously debate when criticism of Israel does or does not cross into antisemitism. But there’s an organized political movement in the US right now that wants to shrink the definition of antisemitism so it *only* means criticism of Israel.

one very real, concrete way to help feed Gaza right now is through donating to World Central Kitchen
WCK’s mobile bakery in Gaza is currently producing 45,000 loaves of bread every day. With more supplies, including flour and fuel, we'd be able to more than double that daily output and support more Palestinian families in need. #ChefsForGaza
