Poked at King's Field (and Shadow Tower) a bit, and I think the reason I'm really liking Baroque over those other titles is that it doesn't bother with aiming up or down. If you're in range and facing the enemy, your attacks will connect 100% of the time.

Can confirm: Baroque for the Sega Saturn is amazing. Even the naming convention for the items you pick up is dripping in strange and eerie vibes. I had to confirm I was reading it right when I picked up "Idiot" meat.
