Over 100 protestors protesting a HOTEL WITH ICE at 10 PM ‼️‼️‼️

I have never seen this level of energy and mass resistance in my life. Kicking ICE out of hotels wastes their time and directly prevents them from enacting raids.

This is the purpose of protests: to DIRECTLY STOP HARM.
BREAKING - An exclusive video from a protester on the ground in Arcadia, CA, was shared with me depicting protesters yelling at occupying police, including Customs & Border Patrol.

Reports of over a hundred protesters currently protesting hotel housing ICE

! I’m off the ground but latest: People put a slew of items in the roadway to block an ICE van carrying detainees from leaving 26 Federal Plaza.

Van blew through the debris, including barricades & trash bins, and almost hit a person on the sidewalk & sustained some damage. 1/

Even while protesters and police run in multiple directions after 8pm curfew, one woman blessing protesters with sage.

Unlawful assembly being called via helicopter. Not sure how many are here but it’s at least still in the 100s.

Video too slow to upload.

Things starting to get a bit more tense, as a few protesters here in downtown Los Angeles getting closer to officers in front of MDC on Commercial and Alameda. Curfew begins in 30 minutes. LAPD telling people to back up. One supervisor telling officers to push back if they get too close.

the most absurd thing about the "LOS ANGELES IS BURNING" narrative they've been trying to push is that, statistically speaking, every American with access to the internet knows at least one person who lives in Los Angeles who can confirm that No It Is Not

Reporters: stop saying Los Angeles is under curfew.

Downtown is under curfew. That is a small part of Los Angeles. Everyone else is going about their regularly scheduled lives out in the open and rolling their eyes at all of this.

No sleep for ICE tonight as activists found their hotel again. Hotel managers have to decide whether that GSA per diem money is worth having their hotel completely surrounded 24/7 by protesters.

So it begins. Discussions are underway within the administration, and Pentagon, about deploying National Guard or active-duty troops to cities beyond Los Angeles. We’ll be sending updated guidance to all coalition members. Please follow every step, even if some sections seem irrelevant right now.

López Alvarado “said she told agents she was due on June 17. The agents responded, ‘OK, your baby is going to be born here, but you're from Mexico, right? And I told them no,’ she said.”

"I was born here,” she told Telemundo 52. "I was born in Los Angeles, I was born in Hollywood Hospital.”
Witnesses “can be heard shouting at the agents to ‘let her go’ and ‘she's pregnant.’

López Alvarado said agents told her she was taken into custody for trying to obstruct their operation.

'I wasn’t resisting or anything,’ she said. 'I can’t fight back; I’m pregnant.’”
Cary López Alvarado, a US citizen, “lost her balance as agents ‘shoved her’ during her arrest over the weekend, she tearfully told NBC Los Angeles on Mon. from a hospital bed.”

"With just one week left before her due date, her doctors said they are monitoring López Alvarado as well as her baby …”

The GOP broke the law to deport this man—then decided to indict him.

Court order? Ignored. Due process? Tossed.

Now they want credit for “law and order”?

Chile, please. Y’all did the process completely backwards.

This is Trump’s America: lawless, reckless, and cruel.

First they illegally deport citizens. Then they unleash ICE to terrorize communities. Now they’ve got the National Guard in L.A. to silence protestors.

This ain’t about law and order.

This is what authoritarianism looks like.
