I don't understand why the administration keeps saying that other countries pay our tariffs. This is simply not true even in the most optimistic scenario (e.g., a US importer negotiates something with their foreign partner). If the policy is good, why lie about it?

It’s weird to me that people think protesting *has to* involve physical battles with law enforcement. There’s times—like in LA yesterday—when that happens but it is by no means a common or (more importantly) necessary component of protest. The public exercise of speech is the main thing!
