I went to the skatepark last night and another random skater helped me figure out how to pump a halfpipe and that rules!!! Little moments like that rock so much!!

Flood these fuckers! Take 15 minutes and just wait on hold! This should be the topic of every weekly team huddle, every call center operator should have to raise this with their manager until they go back to doing things the way they did a fortnight ago
Visa and Stripe, in particular, are now at the point where their support numbers will go 'is this about steam/itchio?...' when called. So, it's working. Keep going. And don't fall for the trap of 'well, it's kinks -I- don't like for now, so it's not so bad!'

I am surrounded by people who are outsourcing their own thinking to ChatGPT and they are quickly and obviously becoming dependent on it for even the most banal tasks. Once again, the "figuring it out" is the important part. Yes, you can use a crane to lift weights but you will not get stronger

Rewriting my UI renderer to use an image atlas instead of a 100 different textures is going flawlessly
lightly punching and kicking when I get hugged is just what happens when I'm over stimulated from work but still need hugs from my boyfriend
Tip for SFVI players: when your homie goes in for a hug, remember to press light punch + light kick at the same time on the exact frame they would have hugged you to get additional drive and meter, which you can spend on an EX Hug or a Super Hug 3 if you've built up enough gauge.

After 2.5 cold hours in the canadian tire parking I genuinely cannot say if it was worth it but hey, I changed my own engine oil for the first time.
