Doug Ford's government backs down on their proposal to enable mass evictions of everyone whose lived in their rental unit for more than 12 months.

Everyone involved in permitting this idea to make it into Bill consultation should be tossed out to the curb, like they hoped to do to others.

We’re not climate change deniers. We live with its consequences every single day.
And we’re not old-fashioned. We’re willing to try new methods, embrace new technologies, and evolve — because the future of our farms depends on it."

Really frustrating to see CBC manufacturing consent to gut Canada Post!

<$1B invested in a 100% Canadian public service to deliver things coast to coast to coast & employ 62k ppl securely? “unsustainable”

$3-$30B /yr for 147k ppl to have boom-bust jobs for private, foreign oil & gas? “necessary”

Canada nation built (and built and built and built) until the 1970s, then began the great dismantling. I'd pin it to Mulroney era when rails were ripped out across country & Chretien/Harris pulling out of housing funding/backstopping. Canada Post stuff is just another dismantling moment.

I was glad to be interviewed for this piece about the federal govt's new home building agency, addressing affordability but also climate - which is important because buildings are so polluting

I said it's "a huge opportunity to build homes well from the start"💡

It's me! No, seriously, he's talking about me.

For a little while, I've done graphic design and written newsletter content for Ward 1 Councillor Maureen Wilson as an advisor.

This fact is set to become the "Conspiracy of the Day". What fun!

So here's what I have to say about that (thread below):
I've got a barn burner of a #HamOnt municipal political scandal story coming.

How would you feel about a local "journalist" working for a member of Council, while writing hit pieces about other members of Council?

I've received confirmation from City Staff today.

Stay tuned.
