I can't do a lot of waking up and down our stairs because my anemia causes coughing episodes that leave me light-headed/dizzy. This is the closest I've felt to a Victorian lady needing her fainting couch.

I did take my little iron pill and apple juice, but immediately fell back asleep, so now I have a lot of catching up to do.
a fluffy gray cat is sitting on a wooden table and looking at the camera .
Alt: A fluffy gray cat whose fur is sticking every which way. The cat's eyes are a little wall-eyed as they turn their head towards the camera.

This is my husband's review of Alice Wong's amazing "Disability Visability." If you haven't picked up a copy, I highly recommend it.
May she rest in peace as her work continues on after her.

As always, if you see something that you suspect could be an immigration enforcement action in progress, call our hotline at (336) 543-0353 or the hotline number in the About tab so we can verify and provide support.

Currently reading 3 books:

Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen (audiobook, comfort re-read)
The Love Hypothesis - Ali Hazelwood (audio)
The Crystal Cave - Mary Stewart (ebook, re-read)
Question 12:
What book(s) are you reading right now?

Are you actually reading it or is it sitting there being mentally catalogued as in progress but you keep not getting around to it?

Hagerty, 42, lives in a Cape Cod in the Philly suburbs where a mouse has scurried in with the first frost and "Perspectives on History" and a stack of mail—waiting to be read—sit on the couch. She is organizing a grocery list by aisle, like a Motion City Soundtrack song come to life.

Opening vignette is great but so is the rest of this story

A South Philly teen broke into the Barnes Foundation 73 years ago. It led to a lifelong artistic career.
The 89-year-old painter Peter Paone, considered a father figure to Philly artists, has two museum shows this season.

Mine is more like: "...[W]here a cricket hops around her kitchen and 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Diper Överlöde' and 'Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, Eleventh Edition' sit on her living room couch."
The credulity.

Guys, in general, PDA is frowned upon in Japan. I'm pretty sure he's saving her the embarrassment/bad press by kissing the dog instead. I'm sure he loves his girlfriend at least as much as he loves Decoy.
The way Mamiko thought Shohei was going to kiss her but instead kissed Decoy lmao

Did you know if you're extra anemic & have to take an iron pill, you can't have coffee/tea for ~1 hour before or after taking said pill b/c they mess w/the iron absorption? But Vitamin C helps w/absorption. So when you see me driving down the road drinking out of an apple juice box, no you didn't.
