Seems like a good time to re-up this resource.

Vaccine recommendation list for children ages 0-18 yrs prior to RFK Jr’s appointment to the HHS.

Recommend downloading.
If things continue on this path… you may need to ask for these immunizations for your kiddos at some point.

Wouldn’t surprise me if they tried to have this information deleted from existence.

Sometimes when the world seems like it’s upside down, I think of things I can do myself. I am reminded that I can show more kindness, be more patient and more forgiving. I can do the work to make this world a better place.

It seems that only the science community is noticing that NIH and NSF budgets are cut 40% and 55% in the budget bill, respectively. If you live in Maine, West Va, Pennsylvania, Alabama, or Louisiana, CALL YOUR SENATOR as they could make a difference. See below.

Will the Senate Save NIH?
Rescuing biomedical research is every bit as important as saving Medicaid.

One easy way to know if you should support cuts to Medicaid is to ask yourself if you want your nearest hospital to be open or closed next time you need it. Then repeat the question substituting “Emergency Department,” “Trauma Center,” “Stroke Center,” “Cardiac Cath Lab,” etc.

I attended a poster session yesterday at UCSF and the student’s research is really interesting. If you get a chance, please support learners and their inquiry.

I asked the person in front of me at the coffee shops what they were ordering (in case I wanted to try something new) and they looked at me and said, have we met before? I said no…
People are not used to small talk.
Let’s build community. We can do this.

When I started posting about vaccines on social media in 2009, I tried to engage with people who posted scientific misinformation in an attempt to persuade them with scientific evidence.

I quickly learned that facts can’t be used to convince someone who didn’t use them to form their opinion.

Academia (like everything else) is in such a state right now — but I’m constantly reminded of how grateful I am to have so many stupendous academic women friends. They’re brilliant, wise, *supremely* competent, creative, and kind, and I ❤️ them so much.

Once you pay off your house, it should truly be yours…

Losing a $100k home you've owned for over 30 years because of $2,000 in taxes, should be illegal.

WHO AGREES?! 🤚

Please NEVER talk to cops; especially without a lawyer present. If you have the misfortune of encountering police who request info other than can be discerned by your lawfully obtained ID, keep your mouth shut unless you are calmly, clearly asserting your right to legal counsel. Now, more than ever.

it's important this go as viral as the original story for morale purposes if nothing else. despite the image they project these people are NOT unaccountable. consequences CAN be forced. focused anger and outrage MATTERS.
