**News**

I’ve been waiting to share this news for a long time: BC Transit is finally introducing a credit and debit tap system.

One will soon be able to tap or update the Umo card and pay via the app.

This move reduces barriers and will drive ridership.

Sandpoint, ID (pop. 10,444) has a big part of the answer to tourist towns' housing disasters: a new 4-story 88-home apartment building, replacing one house just outside downtown.

Developer says rents should be well under $1,500.

Big News for Nanaimo Housing!

The Missing Middle has officially arrived! 🎉

BC’s new upzoning rules mean most lots can now have 3–4 homes instead of just one. Nanaimo stepped up by expanding the R-5 zone across much of the city… and surprise, surprise — more homes are being built! 🏘️🏗️
