Pete spent a ton of time here in 2016, Newsom has been in the news, Kamala just lost 12 mo ago. This says more about St A's choice in who to include than it does about where NH will end up in 2028

Every AI image should have required metadata that includes the prompt used to generate it. No, I'm not interested in the feasibility of this or how easy it would be to circumvent it.

Everybody involved will need to go to prison and if democrats in congress don’t have the stomach for punishing these people they should just resign now.
DOGE was created for data theft and infrastructure dismantling and it wildly succeeded on both counts within the first few weeks of its existence. It will take a generation to rebuild what it destroyed and the breach of data is unprecedented.
Bye bye, “DOGE”.

It no longer exists as a “centralized entity”, according to the Office of Personnel Management.

NFL Blitz, selecting the DB/safety and just absolutely trucking the receiver before the ball was even on screen was a cheat code and so so much fun.
There's a sub-section of the retro game romhacking community dedicated to making romhacks of old sports games (ex: NHL 94, NFL Blitz & NBA Jam) with updated roster of teams and players from the current day and season of said sports.

Here NFL Blitz 2026 on N64 for ex: www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZni...

TRUMP [after spending 5 minutes with Zohran]: surplus value, it’s a very wonderful thing, very wonderful, and they’re stealing it. Can you believe that?

We’re going to be looking very strongly at the bourgeoisie, what they’re up to

Under what circumstances would this turn around besides Trump moderating his own administration?
If this holds — and the midterms are a year away, so that’s a big if — the GOP is fuuuuuuuuuuuucked.

OK, this is legitimately impressive spot on analysis from Gemini:

"...in the context of youth sports economics, the goaltender is a high-capital asset managed by a family unit acting as an investor."

Gas stations make money when oil prices drop bc they slow walk price decreases to pad profits. But yeah, I'm sure those tariffless beef prices are gonna come down real fast.

On the one hand, I'd much rather be hated by Epstein than loved, on the other ...holy shit.
America's most notorious child rapist, Jeffrey Epstein, said this man was the worst person he'd ever met. Let that sink in.

Took too long but that Wordle streak pull was strong. Just canceled my NYT news and games subscriptions.
At the same time the NY Times was hyping Hillary Clinton's emails, it had a reporter with emails from Jeffrey Epstein that were highly damaging to Trump.

The more NYT apologists try to minimize this the clearer it becomes that they don't understand why much of the public doesn't trust legacy media.

So the stingiest MFers on the planet wrt their IP are going to let randos make content with it? This should be great for their brand. Can't wait to see what y'all come up with.

They should have to wear hi viz jumpsuits with bells on them like cats.
I simply refuse to accept that police ever have to look like this. this is just pure cosplay. it should be illegal for cops to be dressed like soldiers going to war.

I will die on this hill. You can skill yourself into millions of dollars. You cannot skill yourself into billions. Billionaires are extremely lucky outliers with negative correlation to skill, and that luck should be taxed at the same rate as lottery winners.

There's a point where it no longer makes sense to stay on the Trump train. Every story that makes him weaker gets extra GOP brain cycles thinking about the after times. No one will want to be the last on the life boat. I think we're closer to a mass exodus than we're allowing ourselves to hope.

Trump did the thing, everyone knows he did the thing, and he's got an entire political party and associated media apparatus trying to cover up his clear involvement in the thing. One of the sickest, most sordid chapters in an especially sick and sordid period of modern American history.

What if we took the millions of dollars we spend on military propaganda at every major sporting event, we instead honored the public servants that keep our society moving.
What if Democrats committed to changing the perception of government? What if our party communicated all the different way that the people who don't "have a lot of visiblity" make our lives better? There's actually a huge civic engagement opportunity here!
hey let's block this one too

If Senate Dems don't vote to oust Schumer as leader (or push him internally to resign), the only conclusion left is that all of them wanted this result and were fine letting the moderate folks who won't run for reelection walk the plank. Not holding my breath.

NH has an abysmal bench of Democratic candidates. It's why we have two stuck in the 90s septuagenarian former governors as our candidates. We desperately need new blood.

reminder to any ambitious Dems waiting in the wings: announcing a primary challenge right now to a squishy Democrat who’s up in 2026, whether they voted tonight to shine Trump’s shoes or not, will almost instantaneously be awash in cash. fortune—and a primary challenge—favors the bold.
