New PB contest coming to town. Looks like a lot of fun!
It's important, and ALSO, anyone considering booking Kyle - it will be an amazing author visit! He was on a panel at the Tucson Book Festival with a couple other authors, and that group was THE funniest and most entertaining kidlit panel I attended. 10/10 would recommend.
I hate shilling for school visits like "support trans authors 🥺" but actually I think it is good and important for kids--cis and trans--to interact with trans adults as respected professionals and welcomed guests rather than rhetorical specters.
