Looks like the Black Sheep chain cafe that many in #Bruntsfield objected to, is nearing completion.

Can't say I'll be using it, been in one, found it soulless (no human interaction, all orders done on screen), left. Much nicer Indie cafes nearby.

We had a visit from illustrator Victoria Sandoy, who has worked with the likes of Julia Donaldson. Here she is with our own master of brushes, Jack.

I can’t believe UK media has spent the last 2 weeks discussing whether it ‘s fair to call Farage a racist based on his teenage behaviour… As titillating as it is to question accounts of the bullying behaviour of a boy Nazi they could just look at what he does as an adult .

Paul Duginski really nailed it with this political cartoon. Follow the money, it always leads you to the corruption.

And nor should it. Farage is a dangerous racist and yet is being fast tracked into No.10 on a ruinous populist agenda, funded by shady right wing money and malign foreign interests.
People must know who and what they are voting for. That’s the very lowest bar in a democracy.

Unfortunate drama interrupting travel home as someone is taken ill on the bus. Fortunately person sitting near them was obviously trained in first aid, heard her asking & doing what we learned on a course a few months ago, ambulance on way. Hopefully they are okay

Awaiting the Pratchett play in the Pleasance. Always find it odd to recall I've sat on that very stage with @garethlpowell.bsky.social , @aptshadow.bsky.social and others during @cymerafestival.co.uk . It's a small world, our geek community, yet also infinite ..

Noticing folks posting their "Spotify Wrapped" round up of their tracks played over the year. I won't be, as Spotify are awful to musical artists, host some horrendous people on podcasts and their backers also pour their monies into some horrible companies. Prefer to buy records or use Bandcamp
