Please share this pup far and wide. We don’t deserve all the good dogs but we do deserve a gold star.
We've been saving this little pup for when we thought you all might really need a gold star. And, given the current circumstances, here she is. 13/10

Eight months since I had my botanical tattoos done- wild rocket and fennel. Hmmm, what next…
Tempted to a portrait of the wonderful Hattie Jacques but possibly another botanical would be in keeping. #tattoos

A gay guy, a Black man, and a woman walk into a flight deck— that’s not the beginning of a joke, but just a regular day at work! There was so much DEI on this plane that we could hardly get in the air. Luckily my limp wrists were able to wrestle the heavy jet back to the ground 💅🏼

In the Northamptonshire village of Aynho many old cottages have Apricots growing up their walls.
These had been given to the local householders by the Lord of the Manor. The locals were then required to pay their tithes in Apricots rather than money. #HouseHistory

I see Undercliffe House is up for sale again. I wrote a long form piece for Viva Lewes about this remarkable place (that I lived directly beneath) a decade ago. A cast of residents that you couldn’t invent, a pure Edward Gorey fantasy.

As @drfernriddell.bsky.social kindly shared the other day, I would love to talk to culture journos writing on #AThousandBlows & interested:

Now is the time of darkness and slumber, of cold gloom and starlight obscured by mist.
Now is the time to arm yourself with strong tea, pajama armor, a shield of books, and to stubbornly resist the call to adventure at all costs.
